The coat condition and temperament of your dog matters and honesty is key. So please note that if you know your dog to have any of these problems: matting, fleas, behavioural (i.e biting, thrashing etc.) please let me know before the appointment so that we can discuss custom prices and make a plan best suited for them. Failure to do so will result in the appropriate immediate surcharge from the list below added on top of the grooming price. Let’s look out for each other!
Matting(depending on severity): £10 - £30
Difficult Dog Charge - £10
Flea Treatment(If your dog has fleas, this covers the compulsory treatment of the dog’s coat and treatment of the van afterwards) - £20

When I arrive for your appointment, please make sure your dog is handed over on a lead to ensure they can be walked safely to and from the van.
Once your dog’s groom is complete, I’ll bring them back out to you and take payment at the end of the appointment. Both card (contactless only) and cash payments are accepted.
Helpful Hint - Before your appointment, please allow your dog a chance to go to the toilet if possible. While accidents can happen (and that’s no problem!), it does help your dog feel more relaxed and comfortable during their groom.

All I need is a safe place to park nearby and access to a standard mains plug socket. I carry a 9m power cable, so there’s plenty of reach. I will empty waste water on the ground after the bath, only a small amount of water (equivalent to a bucket full). Only pet-safe shampoos and environmentally friendly products are used, so there’s nothing harmful being washed away.
Please note:
I cannot park on yellow lines or busy roads.
No extensions as it may overheat and trip my electrics.
I will have to refuse the service if the above are not met.
-
Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I understand that sometimes circumstances may change, and I am always more than happy to work around you with enough notice.
No shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time may result in loss of your £20 deposit and incur a 50% charge of the grooming fee to help cover the time and travel allocated for your booking.
The same will apply if I’m unable to safely park nearby or access a suitable power supply for the van.

Please note that, unless agreed beforehand, owners are not able to stay inside the van during the groom. While many dogs naturally look to their owners for comfort, grooming requires them to be safely restrained at times. Seeing their owner during the process can often make dogs more unsettled or anxious, as they may try to reach you while being groomed.
I always aim to create a calm, safe, and relaxed environment where your dog can feel comfortable and build trust throughout their groom.

Your dog’s health and wellbeing are something I take very seriously. Before and throughout the grooming process, I will check for any lumps, bumps, skin sensitivities, or anything unusual, and let you know if I notice anything that may need attention. It is important that you let me know if your dog has any pre existing health conditions or if they have become poorly before I am due for the appointment, so that I can plan accordingly and give your dog the best experience possible.
I am canine first aid trained and carry a fully stocked dog first aid kit on board the van at all times for extra peace of mind.
I’m happy to use medicated shampoos, or administer medication prescribed by your vet if you wish me to.
I offer ear plucking if necessary, as long as there is no ear infection or inflammation.
-
Groomers are no longer permitted to do this, therefore I do not offer this service.
Please see your vet if your dog needs their anal glands released.

Your dog’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing always come first. With years of hands-on experience and a genuine love for dogs, I’m confident working with all kinds of personalities and always strive to create a calm and positive grooming experience tailored to each dog.
It is therefore important that you let me know in advance if your dog has shown signs of aggression, anxiety, or has previously bitten or struggled during grooming appointments. While I am experienced in handling dogs who need extra patience and understanding, being aware beforehand allows me to prepare properly and ensure the safest experience possible for everyone involved.
Please Note:
If a dog becomes excessively distressed, aggressive, or unsafe to groom, the appointment may be stopped immediately in the interest of welfare and safety. In such cases, up to 50% of the grooming fee may still be payable to cover the allocated appointment time and travel costs.
While every effort is made to keep your dog comfortable during their groom, grooming can sometimes be stressful — particularly for older dogs, puppies, rescue dogs, or pets with existing health conditions. In some cases, grooming may highlight underlying medical issues or aggravate existing sensitivities. For this reason, dogs requiring extra care may be groomed with comfort and welfare as the priority, rather than achieving a particular style.
In rare cases where grooming is especially stressful, I may recommend discussing calming support or sedation options with your vet before future appointments.
Although every precaution is taken to ensure appointments are carried out safely, owners remain legally responsible for their dog’s behaviour at all times under UK law. In the event that a dog causes injury to me before, during, or after an appointment, any associated costs or losses may be the responsibility of the owner.
